Arlene McGee
BIOGRAPHY
Arlene McGee is a local area artist and is well-known for her award-winning floral expressions typical of those featured in this show. Arlene resides along the Mississippi River and attributes her artistic inspiration to the landscape which surrounds her and the local flower gardens which abound during the growing season. A painter all her life, she switched from oils to watermedia about 17 years ago and has had several solo shows and exhibited numerous times in juried group shows. Arlene teaches watermedia workshops in her community. Her work is in private and corporate collections in Canada and the U.S. and has been featured on the cover of two publications.
