David Zimmerly
As an anthropologist and world traveler, I have used my camera to record cultures from the Arctic to Africa, from India to Peru. I enjoy creating informal portraits of interesting people that I see on the street, at work, at play. Landscape and nature photography are other passions of mine, whether in the Galápagos, India, Bhutan, Guatemala or near home. Since settling in Perth in 1996, I have actively pursued digital photography. I travel extensively, camera in hand. My main camera is a digital SLR (Nikon D-200). Lightroom and Photoshop are my preferred digital darkroom tools.
