Roy Martin
Roy Martin studied fine art in London Ontario, majoring in both the visual arts and music under the direction of Selwyn Dewdney and Don Wright. He, however left the field of art to pursue a career in engineering. He holds a degree in mechanical engineering. After a long absence from the arts he resumed his studies extramurally at Queen's University working primarily in oils.
Business pressure interrupted further art exposure until he retired. Since then he has been painting in watercolour and is currently studying this art form at St. Lawrence College under the direction of Margaret Grothier and Henry Vyfinkle. He also carves songbirds and waterfowl.
